Friday – Mid October – The butterflies have returned! The popular exhibit opens Friday and runs until mid-October. Get up close and personal with hundreds of tropical butterflies in the Conservatory at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. Included in regular admission. Saturday – Family Easter at Maymont – A highly popular Easter celebration with an Eggtivity Zone, a Hopping Fun Zone, bonnet parade, entertainment, arts and crafts, food vendors and more. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. 1700 Hampton St. Activity pass $15 required for most events.

Saturday – Easter Egg Hunt at Tuckahoe Plantation – Head to Tuckahoe Plantation for their family-friendly Easter egg hunt. Picnic baskets and blankets welcome. Richmond Animal League will be on site, as well as Devilish Delights Desserts food truck.

Sunday – Easter on Parade – Stroll up and down the Avenue to enjoy music, children’s activities, food and more on Monument Avenue between Allen and Davis avenues. 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Free to attend.
