Saturday – Circle the Wagons at COTU – Head to Center of the Universe Brewing in Ashland for Circle the Wagons, a BBQ cook-off where six BBQ vendors like Saucy’s Walk-Up, Jake’s Place and Cultured Swine will compete for the BBQ cup. (Dig into plenty of pulled pork, brisket and ribs). There will be a panel of celebrity judges as well as a public choice award. With music from Righteous Outlaws and Undercover Bandwagon. Saturday – Anthem Moonlight Bike Ride – Get out and enjoy a moonlight bike ride through Richmond on a course closed to traffic. Roughly 2,500 people are expected to participate. Pick from the Full Moon (15-mile) course or the Half Moon (8-mile) option which is popular with families. The ride finishes up at Sports Backers Stadium with a post-ride party with music from the Jangling Reinharts, pizza and beer. $10-$50. 8 p.m. 100 Avenue of Champions.
