Friday – Sunday – Lebanese Food Festival – Dig into spinach and cheese pies, shish kabobs, stuffed grape leaves and more at the Lebanese Food Festival. Located in a bucolic setting with plenty of outdoor seating, this three-day food festival serves up tasty homemade dishes, music and dance troops in traditional dress. New this year, the St. Rafqa Chior from Lebanon will be performing a mix of folk and religious music on Friday and Saturday night. Free entry, pay as you go. Friday – Sunday – Dominion Energy Riverrock – Dominion Energy Riverrock returns to Brown’s Island for three days of trail running, kayaking, biking, bouldering, slacklining, stand-up paddleboarding, dog jumping and much more. You can participate or spectate at this popular outdoor sports festival that also includes live music and beer. The music headliners for this year’s festival are Americana roots band The Wood Brothers, and Southern rockers The Marcus King Band, plus plenty of buzz-worthy Richmond bands like Chris Leggett, McKinley Dixon, Minor Poet and more. Friday & Saturday – Big Tent Southside – Richmond Symphony’s Big Tent moves to the Southside this year and kicks off Friday night with a performance from Bio Ritmo and the Richmond Symphony. Saturday will be a Family Day performances by Legacy Band VA, The Bush League, Salsa Guy’s Bomba y Plena and Los Aquilas del Norte, plus a kids’ zone with skateboarding, yoga, and more.
