Friday Cheers kicks off its 35th season (say what?!) this Friday with Lukas Nelson (pictured), & Promise of the Real. You may have heard the band’s catchy tune “Find Yourself,” featuring backup vocals by Lady Gaga. It’s a regular mainstay on WNRN and should sound amazing on Brown’s Island. Bring it on! Outdoor concert season has officially begun! Saturday – ¿Que Pasa? Festival

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo one day early with ¿Que Pasa? Festival on Richmond’s Canal Walk. Last year, the ¿Que Pasa? Festival set a mark recognized by Guinness World Records for the largest assembly of piñatas with over 1,013 of them. This year, there’s no goal to break any records, just to have a good time, with food trucks serving fare from El Salvador, Cuba, Panama, Jamaica and more, cultural dance performances, live music, decorated canal boat rides and more.
