Friday-Sunday – Lebanese Food Festival

The Lebanese Food Festival returns after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. At the popular food festival, you can dig in to homemade Mediterranean food, such as stuffed grape leaves, falafel and grilled kebabs, while enjoying traditional Lebanese dancing and music. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. St. Anthony Maronite Church, 4611 Sadler Road, Glen Allen. Friday-Sunday – Powhatan County Fair

The Powhatan County Fair returns for its 103rd year (can you believe it?). Get ready for midway rides, live music, fair food, funnel cakes and more. Opens at 5 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Powhatan Fairgrounds, 4042 Anderson Highway, Powhatan. Free admission; pay as you go. Advance wristbands $15.

Saturday-Sunday – Virginia Museum of History & Culture Grand Reopening

After being closed for a $30 million renovation, the Virginia Museum of History & Culture is hosting a public reopening celebration with free admission, family activities, live music, food trucks and the opportunity to explore the new galleries and exhibit “Our Commonwealth.” Be sure to check out the grand two-story entrance atrium, the new café and the new immersive theater. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 428 N.
